Why Rose Triad exists
Hi, I’m Amo (he/they) and the founder of Rose Triad.
My journey began in the world of artistic gymnastics, where mental resilience and the mastery of physical control were central. Over the years, both as an athlete and a coach, I saw how the relationship with the body, nutrition and mental health often came under pressure. That tension between strength and vulnerability became the starting point for my work. At the same time, my involvement in queer organisations in Ghent grew, including Casa Rosa and Out for the Win. In this community-based work, it became clear every day just how closely well-being, policy, identity and social context are intertwined.
Today, I combine my background in sport with insights from psychology, nutrition, training science and intersectional activism. Whether it’s individual coaching or organisational development, my focus is on recovery, sustainable change and building contexts in which people can rebuild a healthy relationship with themselves and their environment.
